Doug and I went out exploring our own territory to find new places to paint and visit old haunts of mine that keep bringing me back because of the light and the mood and the beauty of the area. We had the nicest day wandering and talking with folks we met who wondered who we were and what we were up to! Everyone was willing if not amazed that I might want to paint there. We visited half the day and scouted the other half. A warm thank you to those who took the time to share their stories of the land and its people. The watershed is indeed rich with beauty.

Some of the funds earned from the sale of artwork inspired by our region’s scenic richness are available to organizations that share our passion for preserving fragile local environments and historic properties – from threatened habitats and farmland to protected natural areas.
