I recently completed a commission from a small plein air piece that I painted in Leiper's Fork. The study is 8x16 and the commission is 24x70. I loved painting this painting. I loved the walnut oil that I used and felt that it helped the alla prima process until completion.

I painted this 36x48 this summer on my deck - loved it - A lot of my students are asking to see how a painting progresses. This might help...

 Creative Safaris
I've been blessed lately with young artists - There's a wealth of young people in my area that are craving a creative outlet, and their parents are supporting them. I am so grateful to be teaching these young thinkers and so grateful that their parents are letting them explore and create! We are having such fun! These classes are in some of my friend's homes and in churches. Last week I did a birthday party for Lilly Adcox - 14 painted and had a blast!
