I painted this study in the Kevin Macpherson workshop. Beautiful views everywhere you looked. One of those blessed mornings, that everything flows and your spirit and brush marry to create the feeling you experienced as you stood there for an hour or so. And to have that feeling validated by your teacher, who walks up from behind and exclaims, "You got one!" Like we were out fishing together! Indeed, he told me that "you made some money with this one." Exhaustion from the week and happiness from his proud smile, made my heart burst with joy. Perhaps I might be able to succeed along the way. A great moment in my life.
